Every Day Mission

Session Overview

GOAL: To equip believers with a simple and actionable framework for living out their identity in Christ, as a family of missionary servants who make disciples who make disciples. Along the way, we will unlearn the ideas that “church” is an event you attend, that “ministry” is something performed by “professionals”, and that “spiritual maturity” is merely the accumulation of Biblical knowledge and moral compliance.

WEEK 1: GOSPEL IDENTITY VS. RELIGIOUS CONSUMERISM
● Goal: Shift your baseline paradigm from attending church to being sent.
● Key Concept: Mission flows from identity, not duty. You are a child of God, a servant of King Jesus, and a sent missionary.

WEEK 2: GOSPEL FLUENCY & THE FOUR G’S
● Goal: Identify root unbelief in your daily struggles and speak the Gospel in everyday language.
● Key Concept: All anxiety and sin stem from unbelief in God’s character. (God is Great, Glorious, Good, Gracious).

WEEK 3: INCARNATIONAL POSTURE & GENUINE FRIENDSHIP
● Goal: Move from viewing unbelievers as "religious projects" to building authentic, agenda-free relationships.
● Key Concept: Incarnation means "taking on flesh"—embedding in secular spaces with empathy, humility, and presence.

WEEK 4: LEVERAGING EVERYDAY RHYTHMS
● Goal: Overcome your "I don't have time" issue by integrating mission into existing weekly habits.
● Key Concept: We don’t need new programs; rather we submit pre-existing human rhythms (Eat, Listen, Celebrate, Bless) to Jesus.

WEEK 5: MICRO-COMMUNITY: SUPPORT & ACCOUNTABILITY TRIADS
● Goal: Shift mission from an isolated, individual effort to a shared, community practice.
● Key Concept: Sustainable mission requires micro-groups (triads) characterized by transparent confession, support, scripture, and prayer.

WEEK 6: MULTIPLICATION & THE APPRENTICESHIP MINDSET
● Goal: Ensure you’re working with a reproducible framework, empowering you to disciple others.
● Key Concept: Everyone can model, explain, and pass on these simple habits to a new believer using the D.E.E.P.E.R. cycle.
