Blessed by Believing

The focus of today’s lesson is on the way that Mary was blessed because she simply believed that God would do what He said. Unlike Zechariah who doubted God’s promise because of his opinion of his own capacity, Mary didn’t seem to factor her own capacities into God’s ability to carry out His promises. The goal of the lesson is to inspire people to follow Mary’s example of faith and to consider the blessings we can receive when we believe that God will keep His promises to us.
